Analysis of the Badenfahrt 2017

The Badenfahrt, with up to one million visitors, is one of Switzerland’s largest celebrations. For the upcoming festivities, an evaluation of the evacuation concepts, pedestrian flows and possible bottlenecks was undertaken as well as a determination made of the optimum locations for the rescue units. The event was assessed based on a standardized safety concept. Ensuring the safety and well-being of the attendees during the Badenfahrt is of the highest priority.
