ASE provides safety certificate for public facilities at Chur railroad station

Chur railroad station is the most important railroad junction in the canton of Graubünden and was opened in 1858. Around 24,000 passengers board and alight at the station every day. With the renovation project, the Rhaetian Railway wants to adapt the platforms to the current needs of travelers. Since 2017, the Federal Office of Transport (FOT) has required proof that the safety of passengers in the station is guaranteed in order to approve the conversion of platform facilities.

The safety analysis of ASE AG received approval from the Federal Office of Transport, thereby enabling Rhaetian Railway to commence the renovation project at Chur station. Chur Station Safety Certificate

The safety case prepared by ASE was unconditionally accepted by the FOT as the basis for project approval. The Rhaetian Railway has been granted planning approval and can start construction work on time. ASE congratulates the Rhaetian Railway on the start of construction and wishes it a smooth completion of the work.
