Jülich Research Center relies on ASE technology

Rising passenger volumes in public transport are also a concern for the German research center Forschungszentrum Jülich. The "CroMa" research project is investigating how increasing passenger numbers affect the safety and performance of railroad stations.

The research institute has selected ASE as its partner for a sophisticated people flow measurement on an area of 1,000 m2 on the S-Bahn platform at Frankfurt Central Station. The data acquisition will be carried out by a multi-sensor and is planned for a period of two years.
