Real-time data for proactive crowd management at mega events at Bijlmer Amsterdam station

The huge flows of visitors before and after the events pose major challenges. In order to operate Bijlmer station safely for travelers and employees, NS has introduced a sophisticated crowd control system. Based on real-time data from the ASE pedestrian analysis system, NS can control the flow of pedestrians into the station. We are proud to be able to continuously contribute to the safe operation and management of pedestrian flows at transportation hubs.
