Stuttgart Hbf station management invests in active crowd management at the station. Since the initial planning of the Stuttgart 21 Hbf construction site, the volume of passengers at the station has risen sharply. The temporary operating concepts planned at the time are not sufficient to operate the station safely with the current volume of passengers during the entire conversion period.
The ASE Crowd Monitor shows the security personnel present where crowds are building up or where too high a density is expected. This enables timely intervention to avoid security-related stress situations.
