Home offices eliminate old commuting routes and make people ask if they really have to live close to work. This phenomenon has a direct influence on the distances people travel on public transport.

ASE's PAS was used to assess the situation and conduct a before-and-after study. A similar study has already been carried out by ASE at Bern station in Switzerland.

The research institute has selected ASE as its partner for a sophisticated passenger flow measurement on an area of 1,000 m2 on the S-Bahn platform of Frankfurt Central Station. The data acquisition will be carried out by a multisensor and is planned for a period of two years.
