ASE provides a safety proof for Chur station

Chur station is the most important railway junction in the canton of Graubünden and started its operation in 1858. Every day around 24’000 passengers pass through the station. With this refurbishment project, Rhaetian Railway wants to adapt the perrons to meet the needs of today’s travelers. Since 2017, the Federal Office of Transport (FOT) requires proof that the safety of passengers at the station is guaranteed at all times during renovation works.

The safety proof developed by ASE was accepted by the FOT as basis for the project approval without reservation. Rhaetian Railway obtained planning permission and is able to begin with construction work on time. ASE extends their congratulations on the start of construction and hopes altogether for a smooth realisation of the building works.
