Go Live FA BSA

Successful collaboration with the Bundesamt für Strassen (Federal Roads Office)
Go Live FA BSA
We are thrilled to announce the successful collaboration with the Bundesamt für Strassen (ASTRA) in the development and implementation of a specialized application.

This application revolutionizes the inventory management, condition recording, and maintenance planning of all essential operating and safety equipment (BSA) vital for the seamless functioning of motorways, both in open stretches and within tunnels. Our specialist application encompasses a comprehensive inventory of electromechanical equipment crucial for ensuring the safety and efficiency of motorway operations. From energy supply to lighting, ventilation, signaling, monitoring systems (including fire alarms and video surveillance), communication and control technology (such as radio and emergency call systems), to ancillary equipment like water pumps and building services for operating rooms, our solution addresses every aspect with precision and foresight.

Since its launch in August 2023, the new FA BSA has seamlessly replaced the previous solution, marking a significant leap forward in efficiency and effectiveness for ASTRA. Integrated seamlessly into the infrastructure and organizational framework of the operator BIT (Bundesamt für Informatik und Telekommunikation) and the central authorization system eIAM (e-Government Identity and Access Management) of the Federal Administration, the FA BSA not only ensures smooth operations but also offers ASTRA a plethora of opportunities for future expansion and enhancement.
